Last Friday I played a gig in Finland with my former band Velcra. The gig was at the legendary Helsinki venue Nosturi, which is due to be demolished at the end of the year and to give way to some posh flats.
Velcra played one of it's very first gigs at Nosturi as well as the very last one back in October 2008 so it was a wonderful coincidence that we would be reunited for one more goodbye gig almost exactly 11 years later.
It was also a great feeling to be reunited with the band. I hadn't seen some of the guys very much during these years in between and it was great to spend time with my rock band brothers.
What can I say? It was amazing and epic and crazy. The 900+ capacity was sold out, and everyone there was 100% with us throughout the gig, singing along, hands waving in the air. I really didn't expect the night to be so amazing, and emotional and just beautiful. All I can say is thank you to everyone who was there and who made it possible.

Do you know the feeling when you find out about a month too late that one of your fav bands has been on a gig? Does not feel good :/
