Was I going to go back to making music? Was I in the process of making a record? I hadn’t really planned on doing that, and I felt quite unsure whether I was going to actually take this pursuit seriously and devote proper time and effort to it all. Yet, I really loved these songs, and I felt that it would be real shame if they didn’t see the light of day.
Ok, so in my last post I was hinting that I am working on a new project, which fills me with joy and dread in equal amounts. Since then lots of people have reached out to me to ask what it is, so I thought I’m just going to start talking about it openly..
So, I’ve been working on this new project and it’s been exhilarating, and a bit scary and a lot of fun. I’ve discarded all thoughts about what it should be and what others might think about it. Instead, I am selfishly and joyously doing what feels good. Having fun, dancing around, collecting interesting ideas and working in a quick, light-hearted manner.
I started reading tarot cards maybe 15 years ago. The cards provided excitement for many long nights with my friend or my mum, when over a glass of red wine we’d be discussing the joys and worries of our lives.
When I decided to finally stop exploring and re-publish my blog last week, I didn’t really know what to expect. I had built a nice email list of subscribers teaching online marketing and business. Now I was suddenly going into a completely new direction and I had no idea what was going to happen next.
But I was tired, and I was ready. I didn’t really care what was going to happen next, I just knew that this was a direction I wanted to take, so I was just going to bite the bullet and see what would happen.
In the beginning of the year, I wrote a long post summarising my 2016 making lofty goals for 2017 to make my business reach new heights. I had the planners, I had the excel sheets, I had the release and marketing plans, ready to go. I was so going to do it.
