It’s hard to believe how much can happen in just one week. I haven’t been crazy busy, but so many things that were initiated a few months back, have now come to fruition. The first one being…
Dark Heart Punisher Remix
Let me just start by saying that despite all its faults, the internet can be such a wonderful thing. Back in November, after announcing that I was working on a solo record, I got a message via the Contact form on my website from a guy called Friendly Time who I had met briefly during my Velcra days. He was excited to hear that I was making music again. After writing back and forth a few times, he suggested making a remix of one of my upcoming tracks and of course I said yes.
When Dark Heart was finally out, I sent the tracks to him, and it didn’t take him long to get the remix done. I’m very excited to now be able to share this track and I’m giving it exclusively to all my email subscribers (if you’re not one yet, just sign up here) because I always want to offer something special to them.
Friendly Timo makes his own music under the name of The Fair Attempts. Go and check him out on Spotify, his website and Twitter. Meanwhile, we’ve reached the mid-point of the Indiegogo campaign, to fund the physical production of Villainess CDs and vinyl, and I’m happy to let you know that we are 66% of the total goal. Yay! We are getting closer and closer to the goal every day, so if you’ve been thinking about joining, don’t hesitate to come onboard.

I’m so confident we’ll make it that this week I’ve been ordering test items in preparation (and also because I know how long these things can take!). The proof CD went to production, and hopefully I can share it with you next week. It’s going to be a beautiful digipak with a full-colour 12-page booklet. I can’t wait to hold it in my hand.
I’ve also ordered a t-shirt and a hoodie. The quality is great and the hoodie especially is so cool! It's so comfortable I don't think I'll ever want to take it off.
